On Saturday 3rd July, 5 fit volunteers will be taking part in the 54th Chevy Chase organised by Wooler Running Club

The annual Chevy Chase is a 20-mile journey through some of the finest upland scenery in Northumberland giving both walkers and runners the opportunity to channel their energies into a rewarding and demanding personal challenge.

Racers face an uphill challenge, quite literally as the will ascend both the Cheviot (2,676 ft) and Hegehope (2,348 ft), and we wish them all the best
